On the heels of a successful AAIC, the Alzheimer’s Association is looking to expand our footprint in the broader neuroscience research community. There is an opportunity to target students and early career researchers for a basic science meeting and provide them with a platform to publish and promote their work, and thus accelerate science and advance their careers.

On the heels of a successful AAIC, the Alzheimer’s Association is looking to expand our footprint in the broader neuroscience research community. There is an opportunity to target students and early career researchers for a basic science meeting and provide them with a platform to publish and promote their work, and thus accelerate science and advance their careers.
AAIC-NN will take place virtually from November 9-10, 2020. All registered attendees will have access to the platform for one month after that time to continue to view on demand content.
Registration for AAIC-NN is free of charge.
Yes, you must register to be able to access the virtual event.
AAIC-NN registration will close on November 10.
Live sessions and exhibit hours will take place in Central Standard Time (CST, North America.)
No, you only need internet access in order to participate in AAIC-NN.
We recommend using Chrome or Firefox.
All sessions include an interactive component via a chat, Q&A with the speaker, or ability to contact the speaker or other attendees.
Sessions will be recorded and available on demand 24 hours after the scheduled time and for 30 days following the event. If your internet connection does not allow you to participate live or if a session is full, we encourage you to access recorded sessions once available.
When available, it will be on the AAIC-NN the website.
Live sessions can accommodate 10,000 viewers. You will be notified if a session is full. Sessions will be recorded and available on demand 24 hours after the scheduled time and for 30 days following the event.
With the added strain on networks as more people are at home and online, sessions may encounter technical glitches. If your session is disrupted (e.g. the chair’s internet connection drops, or a presenter is unable to stream video), we encourage you to continue the session if at all possible and contact us at aaicnn@alz.org.
